Bob Scolnick will be your host as the community comes together to see who's got what talents, who can pull together an entertaining skit, who can play guitar, saxophone, dance, tell jokes....what have you! It's a fun variety show, and quite reminiscent of the days gone by when the town follies was all there was for entertainment.
It's got a deeper purpose here in Muskegon however, this year the Frauenthal Follies is out to benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Muskegon.
Opening in the Spring of 2015 The Boys and Girls Club of Muskegon is "On a mission to inspire and enable all young people , especially those who need us most to reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens" according to their web site. It's a proven model across the nation and to have a chapter here in Muskegon is a real feather in the cap, and a process that began 15 years ago. Click on the logo for their website!
I had a chance to sit down with Linda Medema at the Frauenthal to talk a little bit about the show, tickets and some of the other great upcoming events at the Frau! It's important to be a part of their shows as a community and to make sure that the theater stays open and enjoyed for years to come.
If you'd like tickets to the show, click on the link below and support the Frauenthal Follies and the Boys and Girls Club of Muskegon!
