Girls On The Run Event Coming May 21st At Heritage Landing

Girls on the Run!!  We talked to them when the blog first got under way....we learned a little about the program....we found out how it empowers young women to be strong, both mentally and physically and above all we found a place where girls can connect with peers and a wonderful support staff to help them realize all they can be!

Well, that was then....and now, we're getting ready for the big event!  Girls on the Run is Happening at Heritage Landing on May 21st.  You'll have the chance to see the hard work these young women have put in to get ready for this run come to fruition and be inspired by what it took to get them there.






I was invited to come down to the event and give the "fire up" speech at about 8:30 so I thought it best I ask Susan Gifford back in to talk about the events happening that day and what the participants and onlookers can expect.  Take a listen to our conversation below!
